The recent successful drilling for geothermal resources in Nevis by West Indies Power Limited brings forth the prospect of cheap, clean and sustainable energy in abundance. That company's drilling is said to have confirmed the existence of a 2.5 mile geothermal reservoir on the island of Nevis and the possibility of several hundreds of MW’s of geothermal production capacity.
